You know when something amazing, (life changing even) happens to you and you all the sudden feel light, in every sense of the word? The fuzziness disappears and things become clear? Yeah well I’m in THAT head space right now. Yan Palmer breezed in to Australia for her whirlwind series Yan Fam Way Workshop. Embarrassingly enough I didn’t know much about Yan prior to the workshop and after spending a day with her I now know that she’s a little ray of sparkling sunshine that goes against every rule in the book (in a good way)! I finally put voices to a few photographer buddies I’ve known online, and the talent in that room was staggering to say the least.

So how did I come out the other side? I’m still struggling to find words that fit. So here’s my attempt. YAN stirred something (((deep))) and planted the seed. Something can be said for peeling back the layers and showing your vulnerability to a room full of people you don’t really know. It’s like wiping the slate clean. So with that, the rule book has been tossed and it’s time get centred. Back to me. Build my thought process from the ground up and what’s important to MY creative journey. I’m smiling as I’m typing. THIS makes me happy…
