Kel’s Minors, Motherhood Photography
If there was ever a family I stalk constantly on Insta it would be these guys. They’re fun, vibrant, great adventurers and take their play time most seriously. Some of you may know them as Melbourne Minor. Kel makes it her mission to give her little people rad experiences in their everyday and inspires others to do so.
Off to their sunroom. A creators paradise. Flooded with natural light, there were tables setup with Lego (and I mean cities of the stuff), art hanging from the ceiling and stuck to walls, crafty bits and bobs – this room was a visual feast, everywhere you turned. Oh man, I think I was in paradise. Mena’s a budding artist and a great wordsmith just like her mumma and Ravi would take on any zoo keeper role in a heartbeat. His love for animals runs deep. Real deep. Actually I think animals may be a running theme with these guys. I haven’t seen that much animal print fabric in one room – ever! Done well and done right! This would have to be the most colourful session I have ever had.
Think their sunroom was pretty snazzy? Next up, the library. Yes they have a whole room dedicated to books. Well, books and dancing. Walls lined with bookshelves and the center of the room is reserved for tearin’ up the dancefloor, complete with wardrobe mirrors to check yourself out. HA! ;)

Apart from all the stuff these guys get up to I’ve got to say I witnessed their special bond. These guys are tight! Kel is super attentive and knows exactly what to say and when. Even when to laugh at Rav’s endless barrel of jokes. Mena’s cheeky streak had her complimenting her mumma’s gums to which Kel responded with “What beautiful ear lobes you have Mena”. I mean these guys are a hoot! They even have a tank full of fish named after Eurovision stars. Say no more.
